It’s enough to make your heart sing… or something!
Earlier today, Aniplex of America published a new teaser for Anthem of the Heart. The 22-minute feature gives a brief overview of the film, as well as a series of interviews with the film’s cast and crew.
Anthem of the Heart is an original film from A-1 Pictures. Several key members from the Anohana staff, including director Tatsuyuki Nagai and screenwriter Mari Okada, contributed to the project. Masayoshi Tanaka (Anohana, High School of the Dead) provided character designs, and Masayoshi Tanaka (Anohana, High School of the Dead) served as Chief Animation Designer.
The film opened in Japanese theaters on September 19, bringing in 514 million yen ($4.3 Million USD) in its first two weeks. Aniplex of America holds the rights to the film in North America. The company plans to screen the film in the United States and Canada starting November 1, and is selling tickets online.
