Will those with blood of iron stand when the thunderbolt crashes down?
Earlier today, the official Mobile Suit Gundam website announced that Yasuo Ohtagaki’s Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderboltwill receive an anime adaptation. In addition, the project’s official website opened with a teaser visual for the project.
Details on the title’s staff and release format have yet to be announced, as of press time.
Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt kicked off in the pages of Shogakukan’s Big Comic Superior in 2012. The series is told in parallel to the original Mobile Suit Gundam. In particular, the show takes place in UC 0079, during the One Year War. Federation and Zeon troops clash in a fierce battle a zone known only as the “Thunderbold Sector.” The series revolves around Federation Soldier Io Fleming, as he takes on the Zeon Troops in the Thunderbolt Zone and squares off against legendary sniper Daryl Lorenz.
