Studio BONES Producing My Hero Academia Anime Series


The students at Yūei High School got a few BONES to pick with people yesterday.

The official My Hero Academia anime website revealed that studio BONES (Fullmetal Alchemist, Space Dandy, Show by Rock!!) will produce the show’s animation. The site also updated with a new key visual, which features main character Izuku “Deku” Midoriya with ultra-hero All Might.

The My Hero Academia anime series was first announced on October 29, in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump. As of press time, no details on the show’s cast or crew are available.

Viz Media currently holds the domestic rights to the My Hero Academia manga, which they publish digitally. New chapters of the series are added each week, concurrent with the Japanese release.
