Hero class is in session! Now, it’s time to meet the faculty.
The latest issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump revealed the staff for the upcoming My Hero Academia anime series.

Gundam Build Fighters director Kenji Nagasaki will helm the series at BONES, with Yousuke Kuroda (Gundam Build Fighters, Trigun) providing the show’s scripts. Character designs will be provided by Yoshihiko Umakoshi (Berserk).
Shueisha will show off the character designs for All Might and Izuku Midoriya at this year’s Jump Festa. The voice actor for Izuku will also make an appearance at the event.
The My Hero Academia anime series was first revealed on October 29, in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump. Earlier this week, the official My Hero Academia anime website released a key visual for the series, which you can check out below:
Viz Media currently holds the domestic rights to the My Hero Academia manga, which they publish digitally. New chapters of the series are added each week, concurrent with the Japanese release.
This year’s Jump Festa will be held on December 19 and 20, at Chiba’s Makuhari Messe Event Center.
