r this week, the official Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash (Hai to Gensō no Grimgar or Grimgar le Monde des cendres et de fantaisie) anime website updated with new casting information. The series added the following members to the show’s voice roles:
- Renji: Tomokazu Seki
- Kikkawa: Daisuke Namikawa
- Britney: Hiroki Yasumoto
- Barbara: Mamiko Noto
In addition, the site announced that cast members Nobunaga Shimazaki, Mikako Komatsu, and Haruka Terui will appear in a live streaming event on Nico Nico Douga. The December 2 event, which will be hosted by radio personality Takeshi Washizaki, will offer an overview of the anime series, as well as a new promotional video.
Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash is based on Ao Jūmonji’s light novel of the same name. The series will be directed and written by Ryosuke Nakamura at A-1 Pictures, with character designs by Mieko Hosoi.
The previously confirmed voice cast includes the following:
- Haruhiro: Yoshimasa Hosoya
- Ranta: Hiroyuki Yoshino
- Manato: Nobunaga Shimazaki
- Moguzo: Fukushi Ochiai
- Yume: Mikako Komatsu
- Shihoru: Haruka Terui
Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash will début in January 2016 on Tokyo MX, ABC, BS11, and ATX.
