Hatsune Miku Joins With Akari Ozora In Aikatsu! Promo Music Video

The Digital Diva meets the leader of Soleil!

Earlier this year, the Aikatsu! website revealed that the upcoming Aikatsu! Cardass arcade game will include a new guest character. Digital Diva Hatsune Miku would appear in the game, both as a card unit, and as a performer in several collaboratively created songs.

Today, the first of these song collaborations hit the web. Bandai Visual started steaming a music video for Idol Katsudou!, which features the digital diva as the lead performer.

In addition, a special card, which features Miku and Aikatsu! season 3 star Akari Ozora will be given away at select locations across Japan.

Idol Katsudou! was originally performed by in-series idol group STAR☆ANIS. Since its original performance, the song has become a frequently used insert song within the Aikatsu! anime series.

Hatsune Miku will also appear as a guest at the Aikatsu! Live☆Illusion ~Three Big Teams Dream Match♪~ live show, which will be held at the following locations:

  • Osaka: Doujima River Forum, 10/9/2016 & 10/10/2016
  • Tokyo: Hikarie Hall, 2/20/2016, 2/21/2016
