I’m so sorry, Precure fans.

Yesterday, Saban began streaming the official Glitter Force trailer. The one-minute trailer introduces the show’s dub, as well as leading lady Emily (Miyuki Hoshizora).

Glitter Force is an adaptation of magical girl Smile PreCure!. According to Saban, the show will run for 40-episodes, with each episode being 22 minutes long.

Smile Precure! originally debuted on Japanese TV in 2012. The series, which ran for 48 episodes, was directed by Takashi Otsuka at Toei Animation. Shoji Yonemura (Parasyte -the maxim-, Glass Fleet) handled series composition, while Toshie Kawamurs (Karneval, Yes! Precure 5) provided character designs.

Glitter Force is currently slated for a December 18 première. The original Pretty Cure is currently streaming in its entirety on Crunchyroll.

Last week, Saban published a short “behind-the-scenes” teaser to promote the series.
