Earlier today, film distribution company Shochiku published a list of films set for the 2016/2017 period. Among the listings is a confirmation that the A Silent Voice is scheduled for a fall 2016 release.

Kyoto Animation is producing the A Silent Voice (Koe no Katachi). Naoko Yamada (K-On!, Tamako Market) is directing the film, though no other staff was revealed as of press time.
