Crunchyroll To Simulcast Konosuba -God’s blessing on this wonderful world!


Konosuba Visual 001 - 20160112Crunchyroll’s getting a little more righteous with their latest streaming announcement!

Earlier today, Crunchyroll announced that they will stream Konosuba -God’s blessing on this wonderful world! on their digital platform. The series will kick off on January 13, at 10:35AM Pacific (1:35PM Eastern), with new episodes added weekly. The show will be available to subscribers in all regions except Asia, Spain, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, and German, French, Italian and Dutch Speaking Europe.

Konosuba -God’s blessing on this wonderful world! is based on Natsume Akatsuki and Kurone Mishima’s light novel series, Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o!

Takaomi Kanasaki (Is This a Zombie?, Tokyo Ravens) is directing the title at Studio DEEN, with Koichi Kikuta providing character designs. Makoto Uezu (Akame ga KILL!, The Heroic Legend of Arslan) will take charge of series composition, while Masato Kōda (Arpeggio of Blue Steel) handles the music.

After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato’s disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world’s problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long…
