Staff Returns For Saekano: How To Raise A Boring Girlfriend Sequel


Monthly Dragon Age March 2016 IssueThe not-so-boring show with a name that says otherwise is back, and it’s bringing the team with it!

The latest issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Dragon Age confirmed that the staff from Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend will return to work on the sequel. The news was accompanied by an interview with series creator Fumiaki Maruto and illustrator Kurehito Misaki.

Series director Kanta Kamei (Bunny Drop, Dimension W) will again helm the series at A-1 Pictures, with Tomoaki Takase designing characters. Series creator Fumiaki Maruto (Classroom Crisis, White Album 2) is back in the writer’s chair, tasked with tackling the screenplay. Hajime Hyakkoku (Gugure! Kokkuri-san, K-ON!) will provide the soundtrack.

Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend is based on Fumiaki Maruto and Kurehito Misaki’s light novel series, Saenai Heroine no Sodate-kata. The series aired in the Winter 2015 broadcast season. Aniplex of America currently holds the domestic rights to the series, which is also available in its entirety on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
