Make way, anime fans! The prince has arrived and she’s with… Mikorin?

Nozaki-kun Kashima Mikorin 001 - 20160210

Earlier today, Sentai Filmworks revealed the second member of the Monthly Girl’s Nozkai-kun dub cast. The company released a trailer confirming that Monica Rial will play the coquettish, yet slightly dense thespian Yu Kashima.

Monthly Girl’s Nozaki-kun is based on Izumi Tsubaki’s manga of the same name. The series, which aired in the summer 2014 broadcast season, was directed by Mitsue Yamazaki at studio Doga Kobo. Junichiro Taniguchi (Prison School, Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie Part 3: Rebellion) provided character designs on the project, while Yoshiko Nakamura took charge of series composition.

Monthly Girls Nozaki Kun Key Visual 001 - 20150404Sentai describes the show as follows:

You know how the story goes: girl crushes on guy, girl confesses feelings to guy, guy mistakes confession for a job application. Okay, maybe that’s not how it usually goes, but that’s what happens when Chiyo Sakura finally gets up the nerve to tell her classroom crush Nozaki how she feels. Since she doesn’t know that he’s secretly a manga artist who publishes under a female pen name, and he doesn’t know that she doesn’t know, he misunderstands and offers her a chance to work as his assistant instead of a date! But while it’s not flowers and dancing, it is a chance to get closer to him, so Chiyo gamely accepts. And when Nozaki realizes how useful Chiyo can be in figuring out what girls find romantic, he’ll be spending even more time with her “researching” while remaining completely clueless. Could Chiyo’s romantic frustration possibly get any more drawn out of proportion? The answer will be profusely illustrated in MONTHLY GIRL’S NOZAKI-KUN!

Sentai Filmworks will release Monthly Girl’s Nozaki-kun on DVD and Blu-ray on March 29. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan.

Last week, Sentai announced that Scott Gibbs will play Mikoto “Mikorin” Mikoshiba. You can check out the announcement trailer below.
