Funimation Reveals Assassination Classroom Season 2 Dub Cast

Last night, Funimation announced the English dub cast for the second season of Assassination Classroom. The series will star the following:

Apphia Yu is directing the dub, while James Baker, Matt Grounds, and Brian Leonard serve as ADR engineers. J. Michael Tatum is the lead writer on the adaptation.

The first season of Assassination Classroom kicked off on January 9, 2015, and ran for 22 episodes. The current season began airing on January 10. Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!, Yuki Yuna Is a Hero) will helmed both seasons at studio Lerche. Kazuaki Morita (Fate/Prototype, Arpeggio of Blue Steel) is the character designer on the project, while Makoto Uezu (Arpeggio of Blue Steel, Is This a Zombie?) provides the show’s scripts.

FUNimation currently holds the rights to Assassination Classroom, and offers it on the company’s streaming platform.

The series premiered on Japanese TV on January 10. Funimation is streaming the series as it airs in Japan, with Assassination Classroom kicking off as part of the company’s Dubbletalk block.

Funimation describes the series as follows:

Class 3E is about to begin their second semester! And while some things have changed, the class assignment is still the same: kill their teacher before the end of the year! Easier said than done since Koro Sensei’s made it clear he won’t go down without a fight. Will these students be able to take down the tentacled monster that moves at Mach 20 before he can destroy the world?
