Last night, Funimation announced the English dub cast for Divine Gate. The series will star the following:
- Akane: Joel McDonald
- Aoto: Chris Burnett
- Midori: Alexis Tipton
- Arthur: J. Michael Tatum
- Ariton: Clifford Chapin
- K: Mikaela Krantz
Clifford Chapin is directing the dub, while the team of Nagaris Johnson, Domonique French, and Jeremy Woods serve as ADR Engineers. Monica Rial is in writing the adaptation’s script.
Divine Gate is based on GungHo Online Entertainment’s smartphone game of the same name. The Yu Yu Hakusho and Heroic Legend of Arslan director Noriyuki Abe is helming the title at Studio Pierrot. Ichiro Uno (The World Is Still Beautiful) is providing character designs, while Natsuko Takahashi (My Love Story!!) handles series composition. Takumi Ozawa (Aria The Scarlet Ammo) is in charge of the show’s music.

After the Divine Gate opened, our world and the worlds beyond became connected, bringing an era of chaos. To restore order, the World Council was formed and the Divine Gate fell into legend. Now, a select few have gathered to attempt to reach the Gate and remake the world. But what will they find when they open the door?
