Daichi Endō, Yuka Terasaki, 2 More Join Macross Delta’s Cast

Earlier today, the official Macross Delta anime website revealed four new cast members. The following roles were added to the lineup:

  • Herman Claus: Daichi Endō
  • Casim Everhart: Shinnosuke Ogami
  • Gramia the 6th: Masaki Terasoma
  • Heinz the 2nd: Yuka Terasaki

In addition, the site confirmed the show’s previously teased voice cast. The series will star the following:

  • Mirage Fallyna Jenius: Asami Seto
  • Freyja Wion: Minori Suzuki
  • Hayate Immelman: Yūma Uchida
  • Mikumo Guynemer: Ami Koshimizu
  • Roid Brehm: Kaito Ishikawa
  • Theo Jussila: Kei Minegishi
  • Xao Jussila: Kei Minegishi
  • Bogue Con-Vaart: Kenn
  • Kaname Buccaneer: Kiyono Yasuno
  • Messer Ihlefeld: Kouki Uchiyama
  • Reina Prowler: Nao Tōyama
  • Makina Nakajima: Nozomi Nishida
  • Keith Aero Windermere: Ryohei Kimura
  • Chuck Mustang: Shinji Kawada
  • Arad Moelders: Toshiyuki Morikawa
  • Ernest Johnson: Unshou Ishizuka

Macross Delta Visual 001 - 20150924Previously, the show’s cast list was derived from the show’s “0.89” preview episode which aired in December. The list was presented in two alien languages, which fans decoded using Minori Suzuki’s name as a cipher. The show’s staff hadn’t confirmed the full list until today.

Macross Delta is the latest entry into the long-running Macross franchise. The series is being directed by Kenji Yasuda (Noein – to your other self) at Satelight, with series creator Shoji Kawamori serving as chief director. The team of Majiro (Barakamon) and Yuu Shindou (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) will provide character designs for the project, while also serving as chief animation directors. Toshizo Nemoto (Log Horizon) will supervise and provide scripts.

In addition to the anime, four manga titles, as well as a novelization of the main story are in the works. The manga titles will roll-out in the following publications:

Ukyō Kodachi, who wrote the Macross Frontier novels, is writing the Macross Delta book.

Macross Delta will première on Tokyo MX on April 3, at 10:30PM. Several visuals and character designs were released to promote Macross Delta in the build-up to the special. You can check these out below.
