Voice Actor Joel McDonald Celebrates The Birth of His Son

And now, for some uplifting news!

Yesterday, voice actor and ADR director Joel McDonald announced the birth of his son, Beck Austin McDonald.

In the hours leading to Beck’s birth, McDonald tweeted light-hearted updates on the situation under the “#BeckWatch2016” hashtag.

McDonald has been cast in over 140 roles through his career. His most notable parts include:

  • Assassination Classroom: Koki Mimura
  • Initial D: Takumi Fujiwara
  • Fairy Tail: Zeref
  • Space Dandy: Meow
  • Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt: Brief
  • Kamisama Kiss: Mikage

In addition, McDonald is credited as an ADR director in over 40 shows, including Deadman Wonderland, Initial D, One Piece, and Spice and Wolf.
