Gon’s ready to take the English portion of the Hunter Examination!
Yesterday, Viz Media unveiled the English dub cast for the 2011 Hunter x Hunter anime series. The series will star the following:
- Gon Freecss: Erica Mendez
- Killua Zoldyck: Cristina Vee
- Leorio: Matthew Mercer
- Hisoka: Keith Silverstein

The 2011 Hunter x Hunter anime was the second adaptation of Yoshihiro Togashi’s long-running manga series. Hiroshi Koujina helmed the show at Madhouse, with Takahiro Yoshimatsu providing character designs. The series premiered in October 2011, and ran for 148 episodes.
Viz Media announced that they licensed Hunter x Hunter last October, at New York Comic Con. Crunchyroll streamed the show as it aired in Japan.
Viz also holds the domestic rights to the Hunter x Hunter manga and its 1999 TV adaptation.
