Kimagure Orange Road Kickstarter Breaks 3rd Stretch Goal

Another classic’s tearing up the Kickstarter charts!

Earlier today, Digital Manga’s Kimagure Orange Road Kickstarter broke its third major stretch goal. The company successfully raised over $89,900 to produce the fourth 3-in-1 omnibus volume of the series. With the milestone, Digital manga announced that they will publish volumes 5 & 6, which will be offered as add-ons for existing backers.

In addition, Digital Manga added three reward tiers to the campaign:

  • $85: e-thank you, desktop Wallpaper, Omnibus Volumes 1 – 6 in Digital format

Izumi Matsumoto’s Kimagure Orange Road ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1984 through 1987. The series, which spanned 18 collected volumes, spawned a 48-episode TV series, two films, and several OVAs.

AnimEigo released the Kimagure Orange Road TV series, OVAs, and first film in the west. ADV released the second movie, Kimagure Orange Road: Summer’s Beginning.
