Kimagure Orange Road Kickstarter Reaches 4th Stretch Goal

Yesterday, the Kimagure Orange Road Kickstarter reached broke its fourth major stretch goal. The campaign successfully raised over $105,900 to warrant the publication of the series’s fifth 3-in-1 omnibus.

As of press time, a final stretch goal of $119,900 remains. The campaign currently stands at $109,037 across 713 backers, with an average contribution of 152.93 per backer. The campaign will run through May 10, at 6:00PM Eastern.

Izumi Matsumoto’s Kimagure Orange Road ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1984 through 1987. The series, which spanned 18 collected volumes, spawned a 48-episode TV series, two films, and several OVAs.

AnimEigo released the Kimagure Orange Road TV series, OVAs, and first film in the west. ADV released the second movie, Kimagure Orange Road: Summer’s Beginning.
