It’s time for the world to meet Handa-kun once again!
Earlier today, the official Handa-kun anime website updated with a new key visual. The new piece features the titular Handa, along with friends Junichi Aizawa, Reo Nikaido, Akane Tsutsui, and Yukio Kondo.
Five new character designs were also unveiled, which you can check out below.
Handa-kun is Satsuki Yoshino’s prequel to his hit series Barakamon. The title currently runs in Shonen Gangan, with chapters also running on the publication’s website. To date, five collected volumes have been released, with the most recent hitting Japanese stores on February 12.
The anime adaptation was first announced on February 1. The series will hit Japanese TV this July.
As of press time, no casting or staff infomation have been unveiled.
