This is a show for all the shota fans out there.
Earlier today, the official Hatsukoi Monster (First Love Monster) anime website updated with several cast and crew announcements.
The series will be directed by Takayuki Inagaki (Rosario + Vampire, Sky Wizards Academy) is directing the project at Studio DEEN, with Mariko Oka (Hell Girl, Hetalia The Beautiful World) providing character designs. The team of Deko Akao, Sayuri Ooba, and Takashi Aoshima will take charge of series composition. Go Sakabe will compose the soundtrack at Dax Production.
Aoi Shota will perform the show’s opening song, which has yet to be unveiled.
The confirmed voice cast includes:

- Kanade Takahashi: Takahiro Sakurai
- Tomu Kaneko: Morikubo Showtaro
- Ginjiro Sannomiya: Tomokazu Sugita
- Kazuo Noguchi: Ayumu Murase

In addition to the cast and crew news, a new visual was released to promote the project.
Hatsukoi Monster will hit Japanese TV this July.
The Hatsukoi Monster will be based on Akira Hiyoshimaru’s manga of the same name. The ongoing series began its run in the pages of Kodansha’s Aria magazine in March 2013. Five compiled volumes have been released to date, with the most recent hitting on July 7, 2016. Volume 6 has a street date of May 13.
Yen Press currently holds the rights to the Hatsukoi Monster manga, which they release under the title First Love Monster. The company describes the title as:
