New Amanchu! Visual & PV Hit The Web


Fans are taking a trip to see the splendors of the sea!

Earlier today, the official Amanchu! anime website updated with a new promo video and visual. The promo video features opening theme song Million Clouds by Maaya Sakamoto as a background track.

The end of the video announces that the series will début on AT-X on July 8 at 11:00PM local time. The show will also air on the following networks:

  • BS11
  • KBS Kyoto
  • Shizuoka Broadcasting
  • Sun TV
  • Tokyo MX

The visual features the show’s main cast on a rocky beach, before a breaking sea spray.

Amanchu! is based on Kozue Amano’s manga of the same name. Junichi Sato (Aria The Animation, Sailor Moon) is helming the project at J.C. Staff as chief director, while Kenichi Kasai (Bakuman, Sweet Blue Flowers) directs. Yoko Ito (Love Stage!!) is providing character designs, while Deko Akao (Arakawa Under the Bridge, Flying Witch) takes charge of series composition.

The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Hikari Kohinata: Eri Suzuki
  • Futaba Ooki: Ai Kayano
  • Ai Ninomiya: Saori Ohnishi
  • Makoto Ninomiya: Yuichiro Umehara
  • Mato Katori: Shizuka Ito
  • Cha-Komon: Yurika Kubo
  • Kino Kohinata: Kikuko Inoue
