Maaya Uchida, 3 More Join Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan Cast


Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan Visual 001 - 20160530It’s time to sign back on to Psi Nan!

The latest issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine (Issue 29) revealed four new cast members for the upcoming Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan anime series. The new roles include:

  • Aren Kuboyasu: Yoshimasa Hosoya
  • Chisato Mera: Maaya Uchida
  • Makoto Teruhashi (Tōru Mugami): Tomoaki Maeno
  • Uryoku Chōno: Showtaro Morikubo
  • Riki Nendō: Daisuke Ono
  • Kusuo Saiki: Hiroshi Kamiya
  • Kokomi Teruhashi: Ai Kayano
  • Kuniharu Saiki: Mitsuo Iwata
  • Reita Toritsuka: Natsuki Hanae
  • Shun Kaidō: Nobunaga Shimazaki
  • Kurumi Saiki: Rikako Aikawa
  • Kineshi Hairo: Satoshi Hino
  • Chiyo Yumehara: Yukari Tamura

Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan is a short-form series, based on Shūichi Asō’s manga of the same name. Hiroaki Sakurai (Cromartie High School, Maid Sama!) is helming the series at studios Egg Firm and J.C. Staff, with Masayuki Onji (Aria the Avvenire, Cromartie High School) providing character designs. Michiko Yokote (Genshiken, Prison School) is in charge of series composition.

The show will receive a “double broadcast,” with TV Tokyo airing the show in the morning during the “Oha-Suta” (“Good Morning Star”) block. TV Tokyo, TV Aichi, and TV Osaka will air the series during the late-night blocks. The official début schedule is as follows:

  • TV Tokyo (Day): 7/4/2016, at 7:05AM
  • TV Tokyo (Night): 7/10/2016, at 25:35 (7/11/2016 at 1:35AM)
  • TV Aichi: 7/10/2016, at 25:35 (7/11/2016 at 1:35AM)
  • TV Osaka: 7/10/2016, at 25:35 (7/11/2016 at 1:35AM)
