Latest “New Game!” PV Previews Opening Theme “Sakura Skip”


Strange game. The only way to win is to not play.

Earlier today, the official New Game! anime website updated with a new promotional video. The two-minute teaser offers a brief overview of the show’s concept, set to opening theme Sakura Skip by the main voice cast (Yuuki Takada, Megumi Yamaguchi, Megumi Toda, and Ayumi Takeo).

The trailer also confirmed that New Game! will première on July 4 on AT-X. The full broadcast schedule for the show is as follows:

  • AT-X: 7/4/2016 at 22:30 (7/4/2016 at 10:30PM)
  • Tokyo MX: 7/5/2016 at 00:30 (7/5/2016 at 12:30AM)
  • TV Aichi: 7/5/2016 at 25:35 (7/6/2016 at 1:35AM)
  • MBS: 7/5/2016 at 26:30 (7/6/2016 at 2:30AM)
  • BS11: 7/6/2016 at 24:00 (7/7/2016 at midnight)

New Game Visual 001 - 20160523New Game! is based on Shoutarou Tokunou’s manga of the same name. Yoshiyuki Fujiwara (Plastic Memories) is helming the project at studio Doga Kobo, with Ai Kikuchi (Engaged to the Unidentified) providing character designs. Fumihiko Shimo (Myriad Colors Phantom World) is in charge of series composition.
