Sega’s sharing a bit more of Hatsune Miku’s world with eager fans!
On Friday, the publisher started streaming a new promotional video for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X on their YouTube channel. The 90-second teaser shows off a new DLC set, which includes a series of costumes based on the Snow Miku designs from 2010-2015.
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X is the latest entry in the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva series of rhythm games. The title, which is slated for Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Vita consoles, will hit Japanese retailers on August 25. The Snow Miku DLC will be offered for free through September 25. As of press time, Sega hasn’t revealed whether they plan to offer the same bonus when the game hits western retailers on August 30.
Snow Miku has been a fixture of the Sapporo Snow Festival since 2010, which saw the digital diva appear in the form of an ice sculpture. Since its début, the Snow Miku exhibit has expanded, becoming an attraction of its own complete with tie-in merchandise and cross-overs with other popular anime properties. Last year saw Miku sharing the spotlight with Madoka Magica‘s Kyubey and three members of Love Live idol group μ’s. This year, μ’s took a headlining spot with Miku for the festival.
