Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom Gets New PV & Gameplay Teaser

Earlier today, Koei Tecmo started streaming a new teaser for the Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom video game. The two-minute teaser confirms that the game will feature content beyond the anime’s first season.

The majority of the game will be set in the Battle For Trost, though bonus missions will see players squaring off against the Beast Titan and Armored Titan, among other challenges.

For fans looking for a slightly longer glimpse at the game, Koei Tecmo Europe uploaded a 20-minute gameplay demo to their YouTube channel earlier today.

Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom will hit retailers on August 30. The game will be released in North America on Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s XBox One consoles under the name Attack on Titan.

North American fans who pre-order the game at Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, EB Games will receive three skins. Fans will be able to do battle with Leon and Eren in their cleaning attire, and Mikasa in her white “festival” outfit. PSN buyers will receive a set of avatars.

Fans in Europe will be able to purchase the limited edition “Treasure Box” edition, which includes a “muffler” towel, pins, the game’s soundtrack, and Armin’s blanket outfit from Attack on Titan: Junior High.

The title was developed by Dynasty Warriors studio Omega Force, and hit Japanese retailers on February 18, 2016. The game, which was available for Sony’s PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita systems, sold through a combined 144,590 units in its début week.
