Magical Girl Raising Project Anime Gets New PV, 3 New Cast Members


So, is this like a Tamagotchi or do you have to fill out some paperwork…?

Earlier today, the official Magical Girl Raising Project (Mahō Shōjo Ikusei Keikaku) anime website updated with a new promotional video. The 45-second teaser introduces three new cast members for the series.

The new roles include:

  • Nemu-rin: Yumiri Hanamori
  • Sister Nana: Saori Hayami
  • Vess Winterprison: Yuu Kobayashi

Character designs for all three characters were also unveiled, which you can check out below:

The new players join ten previously confirmed roles:

  • Snow White: Nao Tōyama
  • La Pucelle: Ayane Sakura
  • Top Speed: Yumi Uchiyama
  • Fav: Mamiya Kurumi
  • Ruler: Yoko Hikasa
  • Ripple: Manami Numakura
  • SwimSwim: Inori Minase
  • Minaelle: Natsumi Matsuda
  • Yunaelle: Risae Matsuda
  • Tama: Asuka Nishi

Magical Girl Raising Project Visual 001 - 20160721Magical Girl Raising Project is based on Asari Endō’s light novels of the same name. Yukiko Aikei (Your Lie In April, Accel World) will serve as character designer on the project, joining director Hiroyuki Hashimoto (Is the order a rabbit?) at Lerche. Takao Yoshioka (Elfen Lied, Your Lie In April) will take charge of series composition and write the scripts.

Manami Numakura will perform opening theme song Sakebe (Shout). The series is slated to première on October 1.
