Yesterday, the official Interviews with Monster Girls (Demi-chan wa Kataritai) anime website started streaming a new promotional video. The minute-long teaser introduces the major cast members to the audience.

The introduced characters include:

  • Hikari Takanashi (Vampire)
  • Kyōko Machi (Dullahan)
  • Yuki Kusakabe (Yuki Onna)
  • Sakie Satō (Succubus)
  • Himari Takanashi (Human; Hikari’s Twin Sister)
  • Tetsuo Takahashi (Human; Biology Teacher)

Character designs for each character were also released, which you can check out below:

Interviews with Monster Girls is based on Petosu’s manga of the same name. Ryo Ando will direct the project at A-1 Pictures, with Tetsuya Kawakami (The Asterisk WarNanana’s Buried Treasure) providing character designs. Takao Yoshioka (Elfen LiedHigh School DxD) is in charge of series composition. Other crew members include:

Interviews with Monster Girls will begin airing in January 2017. Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11 are confirmed to be carrying the series.

Kodansha comics currently holds the domestic rights to the Interviews with Monster Girls manga, which will begin publication on November 1. They describe the series as:

Monsters of legend walk among us, going by the name “demi-humans.” Ever since he’s discovered the “demis,” one young man has become obsessed with them. So when he gets a job as a teacher at a high school for demi-girls, it’s a dream come true! But these demis, who include a rambunctious vampire, a bashful headless girl, and a succubus, have all the problems normal teenagers have, on top of their supernatural conditions. How to handle a classroom full of them?!
