I don’t know about the rest of you but for me, waking up in the morning is one of the worst parts of the day. I am just not a morning person and it’s a well established rule in this house that until I’ve had at least one cup of coffee, it’s best to just leave me alone. However it doesn’t have to be like that for you, especially if you’re a Re:Zero fan.
To go along the copious amounts of merchandise that has come out for the series since its debut earlier this year, a brand new alarm clock app has officially hit the iOS and Android marketplaces as of today which allow you to be woken up by the soothing sounds of either Emilia (as voiced by Rie Takahashi) or Rem (as voiced by Inori Minase).
Each version comes with over 90 different voice recordings and over 30 images which will appear every time the alarm goes off. Not only that but you can also choose up to 3 different recordings to go off which also makes it handy to use as an event reminder throughout the day.
Sadly though the joy of being awoken by one of these two lovely ladies isn’t free as the app will set you back 720 yen (a little over $7 USD). Even more sad is that the app is only officially available in Japan though a workaround has already been found for both the Emilia version (Android and iOS) and Rem (Android and iOS).
Personally I lost track of Re:Zero around the halfway mark and am waiting to marathon it before I make a choice on who is best girl so until then I’ll stick with my Asuna alarm clock.
