Dreamworks’ Voltron Team Streams Trailer For Show’s 2nd Season

Let’s go Voltron, for another new adventure!

Yesterday, Voltron: Legendary Defender staff started streaming a new trailer. The two-minute trailer was originally shown at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

Voltron: Legendary Defender‘s second season will première late this year. The show will be a Netflix Original, like its predecessor.

Voltron Legendary Defender Visual 001 - 20160210The series is a co-production between Netflix and DreamWorks, which reboots classic anime localization Voltron. Studio Mir, which is best known for its work on Legend of Korra, animated the project.

In an interview with USA Today, co-executive producer Lauren Montgomery noted that DreamWorks is “trying to keep as much of that classic feel to it as we can, because ultimately we have huge amounts of nostalgia for (the original) show.”

The first season was released in its entirety on June 10.
