Whether you’re going out as a drifter, a rocker, or a witch this Halloween, Funimation has something for you.
Earlier today, Funimation unveiled their Broadcast Dubs lineup for the Fall 2016 broadcast season. The company will offer dubs of the following:
- 91 Days
- Mob Psycho 100
- Joker Game
- Alderamin On The Sky
- Izetta, the Last Witch
- Yuri on Ice
- All Out!!
- Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru
- Kiss Him, Not Me (US & Canada only)
- The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. (Full Episodes: Sundays at 2:05pm Eastern)
- Puzzle & Dragons X (Tuesdays at 9:00pm Eastern)
- Show by Rock!!#
- One Piece (Simulcast Only)
Specific dates haven’t been divulged, but Funimation notes that they will be able to offer dubs as early as two weeks after an episode’s initial airing. Broadcast dubs will be exclusive to Funimation Premium subscribers.
Drifters is based on Hellsing creator Kouta Hirano’s manga of the same name. Kenichi Suzuki (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Gundam Evolve) will helm the project at Hoods Entertainment, with Ryoji Nakamori (Hellsing Ultimate) providing character designs. Hideyuki Kurata (Oreimo, The World God Only Knows) is in charge of series composition.
The series kicks off on Japanese TV on October 7.
91 Days is an original series from studio Shuka. Hiro Kaburaki (Kimi no Todoke, My Little Monster) directed the project, which features character designs by Tomohiro Kishi (My Little MonsterM). Taku Kishimoto (ERASED, Haikyu!!) was in charge of series composition.
91 Days aired in the Summer 2016 broadcast season.
Mob Psycho 100 is based on ONE’s (One-Punch Man) manga of the same name. Yuzuru Tachikawa (Death Parade) directed the series at studio BONES, with Yoshimichi Kameda (Paroru no Miraijima) providing character designs. Hiroshi Seko (Ajin – Demi-Human, Seraph of the End) took charge of series composition on the project.

Orange is based on Ichigo Takano’s manga of the same name. Hiroshi Hamasaki (Steins;Gate, TerraFormars) helmed the project at TMS Entertainment and Telecom Animation Film. Yuko Kakihara (Chihayafuru 2, Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle) was in charge of series composition, while Nobuteru Yuki (Vision of Escaflowne, Kids on the Slope) provided character designs.
The show aired during the Summer 2016 season.
ReLIFE is based on Yayoiso’s manga of the same naem> The series was directed by Tomo Kosaka at TMS Entertainment, with Junko Yamanaka (Kamisama Kiss, Case Closed) providing character designs. The team of Kazuho Hyodo and Michiko Yokote were in charge of series composition.

Joker Game is based on Kōji Yanagi’s novel of the same name. Kazuya Nomura (Robotics;Notes, Sengoku Basara – Samurai Kings: The Movie) will helm the series at Production I.G. Shirow Miwa will provide character designs for the feature. Taku Kishimoto was in charge of series composition.
The title aired during the Spring 2016 broadcast season.
Alderamin On The Sky is based on Bokuto Uno’s light novel series of the same name. Tetsuo Ichimura (Ane Log) directed the project at Madhouse, with Kunio Katsuki (Aoi Bungaku Series) providing character designs. Shogo Yasukawa (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Terraformars) took charge of series composition.

Keijo!!!!!!!! is based on Daichi Sorayomi’s manga of the same name. Hideya Takahashi (Pocket Monsters: The Origin) is directing the series at Xebec, with Keiya Nakano (Aokana: Four Rhythm Across the Blue, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky) providing character designs. Takao Kato is in charge of series composition.
Keijo!!!!!!!! will hit Japanese TV on October 6.
Izetta, the Last Witch is an original series from studio Ajiado. Masaya Fujimori (Tribe Cool Crew, Fairy Tail the Movie: Phoenix Priestess) is directing the series, while Yuu Yamashita (Bunny Drop) provides character designs. Hiroyuki Yoshino (Accel World, Magi: The Kingdom of Magic) is in charge of series composition.
The show began airing on October 1.
Yuri!!! on Ice is an original title, which was created by manga author Mitsurou Kubo (Moteki) and director Sayo Yamamoto (Lupin III: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine, Michiko & Hatchin). Yamamoto is directing the work at studio MAPPA and taking charge of series composition for the project. Tadashi Hiramatsu (Parasyte -the maxim-) will provide character designs, as the team of Taku Matsushiba and Taro Umebayashi score the soundtrack.
All Out!! is based on Shiori Amase’s manga of the same name. Kenichi Shimizu (Parasyte -the maxim-) will direct the series at TMS Entertainment and Madhouse, with Masanori Shino (Black Lagoon, Digimon Adventure tri.) providing character designs.
Masahiro Yokotaki (Free! Eternal Summer, The Devil is a Part-Timer!) is in charge of series composition. He’ll pen the show’s scripts with Shingo Irie (Kuroko’s Basketball).
All Out!! premieres on October 7.
Touken Ranbu – Hanamaru is based on DMM’s Tōken Ranbu online browser-based video game. Takashi Naoya (Luck & Logic) is directing the show at Doga Kobo, with Junichiro Taniguchi (Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun, Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Part 1: Beginnings) providing character designs. Pierre Sugiura (Barakamon, Bottom Biting Bug) is in charge of series composition and writing the show’s scripts.
The show started airing on October 2.
Kiss Him, Not Me is based on Junko’s manga of the same name. Hiroshi Ishiodori (Bubblegum Crash, Peach Girl) is directing the series at Brain’s Base, with Kazuhiko Tamura (Rin-Ne, Gunparade Orchestra) providing character designs. Michiko Yokote (Genshiken, Shirobako) is in charge of series composition, while Mina Ōsawa (Actually, I Am…, Nurse Witch Komugi R) serves as Chief Animation Director.
Kiss Him, Not Me hits Japanese TV on October 6.
Trickster is based on Rampo Edogawa’s Boys Detective manga series. Masahiro Mukai (Hyperdimension Neptunia) is directing the project at Shin-Ei Animation and TMS Entertainment, with Shinya Yamada providing character designs. Erika Yoshida (Tiger & Bunny Episodes 15 & 23) is penning the show’s scripts, while Yuuki Hayashi (Death Parade, Robotics;Notes) scores the soundtrack.
The series began airing on October 3.
Nanbaka adapts Sho Futamata’s manga of the same name. Shinji Takamatsu (Gintama, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing) will helm the series at Satelight, while Mitsutaka Hirota (The Prince of Tennis II, Sweetness and Lightning) pens the scripts.
The series began airing earlier today.
The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. is based on Shūichi Asō’s manga of the same name. Hiroaki Sakurai (Cromartie High School, Maid Sama!) is helming the series at studios Egg Firm and J.C. Staff, with Masayuki Onji (Aria the Avvenire, Cromartie High School) providing character designs. Michiko Yokote (Genshiken, Prison School) is in charge of series composition.
The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. started airing on July 4, and is ongoing.
Puzzle & Dragons X is based on GungHo’s Puzzle & Dragons mobile game franchise. Studio Pierrot is animating the series. Hajime Kamegaki (Ceres, Celestial Legend, Fushigi Yugi) is helming the project, which features character designs by Yukiko Akiyama (Black Cat, Fantastic Detective Labyrinth). Dai Sato (Eureka Seven, Mysterious Joker) is in charge of series composition.
Puzzle & DragonsX started airing on July 4, and is ongoing.
Show By Rock!!# is a sequel to last year’s Show By Rock!! anime series. Takahiro Ikezoe (Ozma) returned to direct the show at Bones, with Touko Machida (Chaika – The Coffin Princess, Karneval) taking charge of series composition.
