Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa is a sequel to the original Fullmetal Alchemist TV series. Seiji Mizushima (The Slayers NEXT, Concrete Revolutio) directed the project at Bones, with Yoshiyuki Ito (Soul Eater, Space Dandy) providing character designs. Shou Aikawa (Twelve Kingdoms, Martian Successor Nadesico) wrote the film’s script.
Funimation originally released Fullmetal Alchemist: Conquerer of Shambala in North America. The rights to the property reverted to Aniplex in July. Crunchyroll describes the film as:
Munich, 1923: Two years have passed since Ed was ripped away from his world. In his new reality, the growing Nazi Party threatens two worlds. With occult forces and Homunculi lurking in the shadows, alchemy and modern science are set to collide.
