The world’s greatest thief is out to steal the hearts and minds of fans everywhere!

Yesterday, Discotek Media announced that they acquired the domestic rights to Lupin III Part 4. The company plans to release the show on home video in 2017, with both English and Japanese audio tracks.

Richard Epcar, who played Daisuke Jigen in Lupin III Part II, will return to co-direct the dub with Ellyn Stern. Returning cast members include:

  • Lupin: Tony Oliver
  • Jigen: Richard Epcar
  • Fujiko: Michelle Ruff
  • Goemon: Lex Lang

Lupin III Part 4 is the first mainline entry into the Lupin anime franchise in thirty years. While Lupin and company did appear in numerous films and spinoffs like 2012’s Lupin The Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine, this is the first actual Lupin TV series since the second title ended on September 28, 1985.

The series aired on Italian network Italia 1 from August 30 through November 30. The series started airing on Japanese TV on October 5. Lupin III Part 4 is currently slated to run for 24 episodes on Japanese TV.

Crunchyroll is currently streaming Lupin III Part 4 in its entirety on their digital platform.
