ACCA Anime Gets New Promo Video, Cast, & Theme Song Details


Earlier today, the official ACCA 13-Ku Kansatsu-Ka (ACCA: 13th Ward Observation Department) anime website updated with a new TV spot. The 15-second teaser, which focuses on protagonist Gene Otus, confirms a January 2017 première on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, TV Setouchi, and BS11.

On Tuesday, the site confirmed the following cast members:

  • Eider: Aya Suzaki
  • Gurus: Wataru Hatano

Visuals for the characters were also added, which you can check out below:

The show’s opening theme, Shadow and Truth, will be performed by One III Notes (“One Third Notes”). Aira Yuki will handle closing theme Pale Moon ga Yureteru (The Pale Moon Sways).

One III Notes is a group formed specifically for ACCA by composer Ryo Takahashi.

acca-anime-visual-001-20161124ACCA 13-Ku Kansatsu-Ka is based on Natsume Ono’s (House of Five Leaves, Ristorante Paradiso) manga of the same name. Shingo Natsume (Space DandyOne-Punch Man) is directing the series at Madhouse, with Norifumi Kugai (Space Dandy, One-Punch Man) providing character designs. Tomohiro Suzuki (One-Punch Man) is in charge of series composition.

The previously confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Glossular: Junichi Suwabe
  • Lilium: Koji Yusa
  • Spade: Toru Ohkawa
  • Pastis: Hikaru Midorikawa
  • Pine: Hiroki Yasumoto
  • Rotta: Aoi Yūki
  • Mauve: Atsuko Tanaka
  • Rail: Taku Yashiro
  • Pochado: Hiroki Gotou
  • Oulu: Yōji Ueda
  • Not: Tomoaki Maeno
  • Schwann: Mamoru Miyano
  • Magi: Yuuto Uemura
  • Falke II: Ryusei Nakao
  • Kuvarum: Unshou Ishizuka
