Earlier today, Toei opened a new teaser website for their upcoming Precure anime series. The new show, titled Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode, is slated to début on Japanese TV in spring 2017.
The website explains the premise in its tagline: “Make food! Eat! Fight!”
Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode is the fourteenth Precure anime series to date. A trademark was filed for the title, which went public in October.
Another Precure anime series, Magic Girls Precure! (Maho Tsukai Precure!) is currently airing as of press time. The series, which premiered in February, is being directed by Masato Mitsuzuka, who has worked on the Precure franchise since 2007’s Yes! Precure 5. Emiko Miyamoto is in charge of character designs on the project, while Isao Murayama (Toriko) handles series composition.
