Lupin the IIIrd Chikemuri no Ishikawa Goemon Gets New PV & Visual


It looks like the world of Lupin will be stained red before long.

Earlier today, the official Lupin the IIIrd Chikemuri no Ishikawa Goemon (Lupin III: Goemon Ishikawaโ€™s Spray of Blood) film website updated with a new teaser trailer. The 30-second promo offers a glimpse of the film in action.

A new poster visual for the film was also released, which you can check out below:

Lupin the IIIrd Chikemuri no Ishikawa Goemon will hit Japanese theaters on February 4.

The feature is set in the same timeline as The Woman Calledย Fujiko Mine, and features the same creative staff from 2014 film Lupin the IIIrd Jigen’s Gravestone.

Takeshi Koike (Afro Samurai,ย Redline) is directing and producing the film at TMS Entertainment, with Yuuya Takahashi (Laughing Under the Clouds,ย Luck & Logic) writing the screenplay. James Shimoji is scoring the film’s soundtrack. Yu Kiyozono will co-produce the feature, with Katsuhito Ishii serving as creative advisor.

Ina addition, the core voice cast will return from The Woman Called Fujiko Mine. The confirmed members include:

  • Lupin III: Kanichi Kurita
  • Fujiko Mine: Miyuki Sawashiro
  • Goemon Ishikawa: Daisuke Namikawa
  • Daisuke Jigen: Kiyoshi Kobayashi
  • Inspector Zenigata: Kouichi Yamadera
