So, could we also call this “Adventures of the Mini-Idols?”

Earlier today, The official Tenshi no 3P! (Here Comes The Three Angels!) anime website updated with a new visual. The image features leading ladies Jun Gotō, Nozomi Momijidani, and Sora Kaneshiro posing in a chapel with their instruments.

The Tenshi no 3P! anime will premiere in July 2017. Shinsuke Yanagi (And you thought there is never a girl online?, Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS) was tapped to direct the series at studio project No. 9, with Takayuki Noguchi (Queen’s Blade: Rebellion, Girls Beyond the Wasteland) providing character designs. Go Zappa (Koihime Musō, A Bridge to the Starry Skies) is in charge of series composition and scripts for the project. Music label Lantis will produce the music.

The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Kyō Nukui: Yūki Inoue
  • Jun Gotō: Yuko Ono
  • Nozomi Momijidani: Yurika Endō
  • Sora Kaneshiro: Aoi Koga
  • Kurumi Nukui: Rina Hidaka

Tenshi no 3P! is based on Sagu Aoyama and illustrator Tinkle’s light novel series of the same name. The title revolves around reclusive high school student Kyō Nukui, who skips school often due to a past trauma. In his free time, Kyō composes songs using vocal song synthesis software. Think Vocaloid, and you’re on the right track.

Anyway, one day, Kyo receives an email from three girls, who just entered the fifth grade. Jun “Jun-tan” Goto, Nozomi “Zomi” Momijidani, and Sora “Ku” Kaneshiro were raised together since childhood, and are very much like sisters. These sisters from other mothers have big dreams, as they want Kyo to help them break into the music world.
