A World Where Dragon Ball's Yamcha Doesn't Suck Awaits In New Shonen Jump Plus Manga

For once, Yamcha gets to be the badass hero!

The latest installment of Shueisha’s Shonen Jump Plus digital magazine launched a new manga series in the Dragon Ball universe. The new series, Dragon Ball Gaiden: Tensei-shitara Yamcha Datta Ken (Dragon Ball Side Story: The Time I Was Reincarnated As Yamcha), is written and illustrated by Dragon Garow Lee.

The new project revolves around an ordinary high school student who meets an untimely end. Be it through fate or some hatred of the gods, this lad is reincarnated as Yamcha in the world of Dragon Ball. Rather than accept his fate, the boy uses his knowledge of the Dragon Ball manga to predict what happens next. He trains hard, and twists fate to become ethe strongest hero in the universe.
