Eto Mori’s DIVE!! Gets Anime TV Series On Noitamina In July 2017

This summer, fans will be able to dive into a new tale of youth on Noitamina.

Yesterday, Fuji TV’s Noitamina programming block hosted a live streaming event. During the presentation, the hosts revealed that Eto Mori’s DIVE!! novel series will receive an anime TV series. The show is slated to début on the block in July.

A minute-long promo was released with the announcement, which you can check out below:

In addition, Fuji TV released a visual, which features the three main characters against a stark white background:

DIVE!! will be directed by Kaoru Suzuki (Hellsing TV, Pupipō! ) at studio Zero-G. Suzuhito Yasuda (Durarara!!, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) is providing the original character designs for the project, while Touka Machida (Lucky Star, Wake Up, Girls!) takes charge of series composition.

Yuuki Kaji will star as Tomoki Sakai in the series.

Kodansha began publishing the DIVE!! light novels in 2005 under their Bliss imprint. Four volumes were published, with the most recent hitting stores in 2007.

Mori and Masahiro Ikeno collaborated on a manga adaptation in 2007. The series ran in Shogakukan’s Shonen Sunday through 2008, and received five collected volumes.
