You know, we really should start talking simulcasts by now, shouldn’t we?

Yesterday, Aniplex of America announced that they added two new titles to their digital lineup. The company will stream Fate/Grand Order -First Order- and Granblue Fantasy as part of their winter simulcast lineup.

Previously, Aniplex confirmed that they would stream Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga. All three shows will be offered on Crunchyroll and Daisuki, with the première schedule as follows:

  • Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga: 1/6/2017 at 10:30AM Pacific (1:30PM Eastern)
  • Fate/Grand Order -First Order-: 1/31/2016 at 8:00AM Pacific (11:00AM Eastern)
  • Granblue Fantasy: 1/27/2017 at 4:00AM Pacific (7:00AM Eastern)

Fate/Grand Order: First Order- is a TV special, which will air on December 31 at 10:00PM Japan local time. The feature-length special will be shown on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11, as well as streaming network NicoNico.

The title is based on Type-Moon’s smartphone game of the same name. The Hitoshi Nanba (Heroman, Gosick) is directing the special at Lay-Duce, with Keisuke Goto (Yatterman Night) providing character designs. Ayumi Sekine (Watamote eps. 3, 6, 7, Flip Flappers ep. 4) wrote the show’s script.

The confirmed cast includes:

Granblue Fantasy is based on Cygames’ smartphone game of the same name. Toshifumi Akai () will direct the project at A-1 Pictures, with Toshifumi Akai () providing character designs. Ayako Kurata () was tapped as series director.

The show’s soundtrack will be scored by the team of Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy), Tsutomu Narita, and Yasunori Nishiki.

Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga adapts the Kyoto Impure King arc of the Blue Exorcist manga, which began in the work’s fifth compiled volume. Koichi Hatsumi (Deadman Wonderland, Gangsta.) is helming the project at A-1 Pictures, replacing previous director Tensai Okamura. Keigo Sasaki (ERASED, The Seven Deadly Sins) will reprise their role as character designer, while Toshiya Ono (Gatchaman CROWDS) takes charge of series composition. Hiroyuki Sawano is returning to compose the show’s soundtrack with newcomer Kohta Yamamoto.
