First Fate/stay night Heaven’s Feel Film PV Hits The Web


Get ready to see a whole new side of Fate/stay night.

Earlier today, the official Fate/stay night website updated with a new promotional video for the Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel anime films. The minute-long trailer features a brief overview of the films’ plot.

Furthermore, the upcoming February 2017 issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Newtype magazine will feature the Fate franchise’s planned projects for 2017. You can check out the cover image below:

Monthly Newtype‘s February 2017 issue will hit newsstands on January 10. The issue will feature details on the following properties, along with original Fate/stay night character designer Takashi Takeuchi:

  • Fate/Grand Order: First Order- television special
  • Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel
  • Fate/Extra Last Encore
  • Fate/Apocrypha
  • Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya

First Fate/stay night Heaven’s Feel will be a film trilogy, which will kick off in 2017. The project was first announced along with the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works TV series, though it was originally slated to be a single film at the time.

First Fate/stay night Heaven’s Feel will adapt the “Heaven’s Feel” branch of the Fate/stay night visual novel. Tomonori Sudou (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) will helm the project at ufotable, with Takahiro Miura providing storyboards. Yuki Kajiura (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Madlax) will score the films’ soundtracks.

The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Sakura Matō: Noriko Shitaya
  • Kirei Kotomine: Jouji Nakata
  • Rin Tohsaka: Kana Ueda
  • Illyasviel von Einzbern: Mai Kadowaki
  • Shirō Emiya: Noriaki Sugiyama
  • Rider: Yuu Asakawa
