These idols are taking their act to a truly national stage!

Yesterday, the official Idol Incidents (Idol Jihen) anime website updated with a new key visual. The image features the show’s nine major characters posing on a grand staircase of a government building.

Crunchyroll will stream Idol Incidents (Idol Jihen) as part of their Winter simulcast lineup. The series will be available to subscribers outside of Asia starting on January 8, at 8:30AM Pacific (11:30AM Eastern).

Idol Incidents is based on a multimedia franchise from publisher MAGES. Daisuke Yoshida is directing the series at studios MAPPA and Voln, with Mai Ishii providing character designs. Naoya Takayama (Chihayafuru, Supernatural: The Anime Series) is in charge of series composition.

The confirmed voice cast includes:

The story is set in a parallel Japan very similar to the modern Japan we known today.
