Say! Would you like to see a movie?
Yesterday, Crunchyroll announced that they’re embarking on an adventure from the streaming scene to the silver screen. The publisher, in a partnership with Screenvision Media and KAOS Connect, will host a series of seasonal events called “Anime Movie Night, Presented By Crunchyroll.”
Anime Movie Night will take fans to movie theaters, where select anime episodes (or theatrical films) will be screened along with “behind-the-scenes content.”
The first Anime Movie Night is slated for April 2017, with future events being held on a quarterly basis. As of press time, at least four events are planned.
Crunchyroll hasn’t announced which titles will be included as part of Anime Movie Night, though they started streaming a teaser trailer for the series. The promo features footage from Nanbaka, Bungo Stray Dogs, Bloodivores, and Soul Buster.
More details will be announced on the official “Anime Movie Night” homepage.
