Akiba Gamers Plans Valentine’s Day Event For Youjo Senki: Saga of Tanya The Evil

Who needs sweets when you can have hardtack from the mighty Tanya Degurechaff, herself?

The Akihabara Gamers store will host a special Youjo Senki: Saga of Tanya the Evil fan event on Valentine’s Day. The store will give away cookies on February 14, from 8:00PM through 9:00PM. As always, the sweets will be given away while supplies last.

Specifically, Gamers will give away kanpan (hardtack) cookies. For some fun wordplay, hardtack is also a type of unleavened bread. Hardtack bread, which is also known as “ship biscuits”, “sea biscuits”, “dog biscuits”, and “tooth dullers”, has a long shelf life and is often used as a ration during long sea voyages and military campaigns.

In addition, Youjo Senki creator Carlo Zen will produce special “propaganda” promo art that will on the show’s official website on February 14.
