Kyle Colby Jones and Bryson Baugus To Attend Anime Boston 2017


Anime Boston’s roster continues to grow, with two new North American guests hitting the scene.

Earlier today, Anime Boston announced that Kyle Colby Jones and Bryson Baugus will attend this year’s convention as guests. The two, which are the sixth and seventh North American guests respectively, join nine others:

  • Brina Palencia
  • Johnny Yong Bosch
  • Lex Lang
  • Michelle Ruff
  • Sandy Fox
  • OKAMOTO’S
  • Puffy AmiYumi

Kyle Colby Jones has been active in the industry since 2007. He began his career at ADV Films, before moving over to Sentai Filmworks. Jones lent his voice to over 49 characters, including Sadaharu in Gintama, Domyoji Shop Manager in MM!, and Whist in Phi-Brain. IN addition to acting, Jones has directed and written the dub scripts for several anime titles including:

  • Akame ga KILL! (Director & Script)
  • Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya (Director)
  • Gatchaman Crowds (Director)
  • Kino’s Journey (Director & Script)
  • Log Horizon (Director & Script)
  • Madlax (Director & Script)
  • My Love Story!! (Director & Script)
  • Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun (Director & Script)

Bryson Baugus is a newer player in the industry, with eight roles to his name. His credits include Gel Sadra in Gatchaman Crowds insight, Bell Cranel in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, and Kou Mukami in Diabolik Lovers More, Blood.

Anime Boston 2017 will be held from March 31 through April at Boston’s Hynes Convention Center and Sheraton Boston hotel.
