New Visual, First Crew Members Unveiled For IdolM@ster SideM Anime, A-1 Pictures to Produce


It’s time to meet the folks responsible for bringing the dramatic idol-training card game to life!

Earlier today, an IdolM@ster SideM fan event was held in Tokyo. At the event, named “Animeization Memorial! Idol Master Side M ~ 315 Day Special ~”, the first crew members for the The IdolM@ster SideM anime series were unveiled, along with a new promo video and visual that depict the members of the Beit idol unit.

A-1 Pictures is producing the title, with the team of Takahiro Harada and Miyuki Kuroki at the helm. Yusuke Tanaka and Haruko Iizuka (Little Busters!, School-Live!) will provide character designs on the project, while Yuniko Ayana (BanG Dream!, The Seven Deadly Sins -Signs of Holy War-) and Yukie Sugawara (Overlord) collaborate on series composition.

Yusuke Tanaka and Maho Yoshikawa will serve as animation directors, with Yusuke Tanaka working as Chief Animation Director.

The IdolM@ster SideM is based on Bandai Namco’s mobile game of the same name. The project was first unveiled on February 12, along with a short promotional video and teaser visual. You can check both out below:
