Main Staff & New Visual Unveiled For Isekai Shokudo Anime

Get ready to rustle up some great grub in a world unlike any other!

Earlier today, the official Isekai Shokudo (Restaurant to Another World) anime series’s website opened its doors. It greeted the world with a new visual, and several new staff confirmations. You can check out the breakdown below:

Teaser Visual

The visual features a lone tree in a secluded forest. Embedded within the tree is a door with a restaurant’s logo emblazoned onto it.

Staff Reveals

Masato Jinbo (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei Herz!, Chaos;Child) will direct the series and take charge of series composition at Silver Link. The team of Takao Sano (Nurse Witch Komugi R, Shomin Sample) and Keiichi Sano (Heaven’s Memo Pad, Strike the Blood) will provide character designs for the project.

Junpei Inuzuka published the first Isekai Shokudo story on Japanese site Shosetsu-ka ni Naro (Let’s Become Novelists!) in 2013. The first print edition was released in February 2015, under Shufunotomo’s Hero Bunko. Shufunotomo’s published versions feature illustrations by Katsumi Inami.

To date, two volumes have been published. The third book is slared to hit retailers on September 30. A manga adaptation of the title is also in the works, which will début in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine. According to Inuzuka, the manga will share the same first chapter as the original work, though subsequent chapters will diverge from the original books.
