Kiseki Himura & Hajime Kamoshida Collaborating on New Anime Project

So, can we call this The Pet Sword of Online?

Joking aside, the latest issue of Gakken’s Megami Magazine (July 2017) reports that author Hajime Kamoshida (The Pet Girl of Sakurasou) and artist Kiseki Himura (Sword Art Online: Progressive) are joining forces on a new anime project.

The project, which currently doesn’t have a title, will be produced by studio Pine Jam. Kamoshida is credited as the screenwriter for the project, while Himura is listed as Original Character Designer. The project was first teased by a series of flyers passed out on April 1, and an official website did open at the time. The site is currently down, returning a “403 Forbidden” error.

Official Twitter account “@April1st_anime” has also been active since April 1. Megami Magazine does emphasize that this is a real project, not a joke. A visual for the title was released, which you can check out below:
