A Centaur’s Life Anime Gets New PV, TV Spot, & Broadcast Schedule


It’s time to meet the colorful folks in Himeno’s world.

Earlier today, the official A Centaur’s Life (Centaur no Nayami, lit. Centaur’s Worries) anime website updated with a pair of promotional videos. The site added a 15-second TV spot and a minute-long promotional video, which you can check out below:

The site also updated with the show’s première schedule. A Centaur’s Life will air on the following networks:

  • Tokyo MX: 7/9/2017 at 22:00 (7/9/2017 at 10:00PM)
  • BS11: 7/9/2017 at 27:00 (7/10/2017 at 3:00AM)
  • AT-X: 7/10/2017 at 23:30 (7/10/2017 at 11:30PM)

AT-X will also host repeat broadcasts on Wednesdays at 15:30 (3:30PM), Saturdays at 07:30 (7:30AM) and Sundays at 27:00 (Mondays at 3:00AM).

A Centaur’s Life is based on Kei Murayama’s manga of the same name. Naoyuki Konno (009-1) will direct the project at Animation Company Emon, with Sakae Shibuya providing character designs. Touko Machida (Akashic Records of Bastard Magical Instructor, Chaika – The Coffin Princess) is in charge of series composition.

Seven Seas currently holds the North American rights to the title. They describe it as:

Being a teenager is never easy… especially for a centaur! Himeno is a sweet, shy girl, who like many teens her age, struggles with the trials and tribulations of attending high school. The difference is she’s a centaur; but she’s not alone. In fact, all of her classmates are supernatural creatures, sporting either horns, wings, tails, halos, or some other unearthly body appendage. Yet despite their fantastical natures, Himeno and her best friends-the dragon-winged Nozomi, and Kyoko with her spiraled horns-are down-to-earth, fun-loving teenagers who grapple with issues of life and love in a mostly normal daily school setting.
