Anime Expo 2017 To Host Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Prologue Anime’s World Premiere

Soon, fans will be able to watch as a new chapter in a card captor’s life unfolds.

Earlier today, Kodansha Comics announced that they will host the world première of the Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc Prologue: Sakura and the Two Bears (Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen Prologue – Sakura to Futatsu no Kuma) anime at Anime Expo. The film will be screened on July 1 at 4:00, in Hall B.

Anime producer Chiyo Kawazoe will host a special Q&A session at the screening, and Kodansha will give away special bonus goodies while supplies last.

Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc Prologue was first unveiled at an April fan event. At the event, news broke that the OVA will be bundled with the special edition of the manga’s third volume.

A promotional video was also presented at the show, which features Yakusoku no Sora (The Promised Sky) by Junko Iwao as a background track.

While Eriol has decided to move back to England, Syaoran suddenly confesses his true feeling for Sakura and tells her he is moving back to Hong Kong. What will Sakura do? Although she’s unsure of her own feelings, her best friend Tomoyo tells Sakura that the true answer already lies within her. That is when Sakura decides to make something for her dear friend.
