The world of dreams is getting a bit more dangerous. Some could say it’s deadly even!
Earlier today, the official 18if anime website updated with a new promotional video. The 100-second trailer features opening theme song Red Doors feat. Yoshikazu Mera by TeddyLoid as a background track.
18if will debut on July 7. The show is slated to air on the following networks:
- Tokyo MX: 7/7/2017 at 22:00 (7/7/2017 at 10:00PM)
- AT-X: 7/8/2017 at 21:00 (7/8/2017 at 9:00PM)
- BS Fuji: 7/10/2017 at 24:00 (7/11/2017 at midnight)
Funimation holds the domestic rights to the title, though they haven’t yet announced distribution plans.
18if is based on Mobage’s smartphone game 18: Dream World (18: Kimi to Tsunagaru Puzzle). Director Koji Morimoto (Extra, Beyond) will serve as chief supervisor for 18f at Gonzo. Each episode will have a different director. Tadashi Oppata (Memories Off 2nd, Memories Off 3.5) is providing character designs, while Atsuhiro Tomioka (Inazuma Eleven, Pumpkin Scissors) takes charge of series composition.

18 is a multimedia project from Mobcast, which kicked off with 18: Dream World. Rez creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi is listed as a principal creator for the franchise.
